How To Manifest Your Prophecies!

Have you been prophesied over, but have yet to see those things come into existence in your life? Well, I took this concern to God and learned a few things about bringing prophecies to manifestation…

The first thing that we must come to terms with, in order to see the prophetic manifest in our lives, is the fact that the will of God is not automatic. Many of us think that just because we received a Word from the Lord, that it will automatically come to pass. However, nothing in God’s will is automatic. For example, it is God’s desire that all men be saved. However, we know that, unfortunately, when the end of the world comes, there will be those who did not get saved. We always have a part to play regarding God’s will. God needs our permission and our participation. With our example of salvation, we had to believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus is the Son of God and that God raised him from the dead. We gave God permission by accepting his will of salvation and we participated in it by praying the Sinner’s Prayer. This brought salvation into manifestation in our lives. The same is true with prophecy. It is not automatic. It comes to pass in our lives when we give God permission to move in our lives with regards to the prophecy and we participate by praying it into manifestation. In fact, prophetic Words are just like the written Word. When we find promises in the Bible that we want to see in our lives, we give God permission by asking him to bring it to pass in our lives and we participate by praying it into existence.

Following are some pointers to manifest your prophecies.

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Habakkuk 2:2-3

1. Write the prophecy down as best you remember. It will do you no good to just have a good feeling over what someone has spoken over you, but quickly forget what was said. This written account will be like the written Word. It will enable you to go back and remember what God promised to do in your life.

Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. II Chron. 20:20b

2. Believe the prophet and you will prosper. The difference between a false prophet and a true prophet is that a true prophet will speak in accordance with the Word of God. If their prophetic word is not born out by Scripture, it is not of God. Also, a true prophet will exalt God, not themselves. If their prophecy does not bring Glory to God, it is not of God. So, once this test is passed, believe what the prophet has shared with you. Believing precedes receiving.

And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. Mark 11:22-24

3. Take it by faith. In order to bring anything to pass in our lives, we must have the God kind of faith. We must see the situation as God sees it and believe it is already done in the natural realm, as it is already done in the spiritual realm. We must also speak it forth. We must speak to those mountains in our lives that contradict the prophecies, until those mountains disappear from our lives.

This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare. I Tim. 1:18

4. Wage a good warfare. Finally, we must wage a good warfare. We have an adversary, the devil, and he does not want our prophecies to come to pass. He knows that he will be hurt by us once we are operating on the level of what was prophesied. So, he’s going to put up a fight. Fight back! You are on the Lord’s side and He’s on your side. In other words, the power to win is on your side! Take a stand. Resist the devil and he will flee from you! Don’t give up until your prophecies manifest!

Silence the Critics by Kenneth Copeland

“For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men.”
1 Peter 2:15

I know from personal experience that when people start to criticize you and persecute you because you live by faith, your natural human response is to want to strike back.  It’s easy to want to start dishing out a little criticism of your own.  “Maybe if they get a taste of their own medicine, they’ll shut their mouths,” you think.

But you know what?  They won’t.  Your words will just add fuel to their fire and they’ll criticize you harder and louder than they did before.  According to the Word of God, however, there is a way to silence them.  Not by arguing with them.  Not by defending yourself.  But by keeping quiet and continuing to do the good works God has called you to do.

Jesus was highly criticized by the religious establishment of His day.  But He never fought back.  Instead, Acts 10:38 says He simply went about doing good.

When people start riding you about living the faith life, be like Jesus and just keep on blessing people.  Keep on praying for folks who are oppressed by the devil and get them delivered.  Keep on laying hands on the sick and get them healed.  Keep on doing what God has called you to do.

That will aggravate the devil because his primary purpose is to make you ineffective for the kingdom of God.  He wants you to get wrapped up in the criticism.  He wants to distract you, to get your mind off the job God has given you.  He really wants you to quit.

Don’t do it!  Instead, follow the instructions in 2 Timothy 3:14 and “continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of.”  Silence the ignorant criticisms of men by continuing to do good and by continuing to live by faith.  And when all their foolish words have faded away, you’ll still be standing strong.

On the Matter of a Mate by Kenneth E. Hagin

In what areas can you exercise faith? What can you believe for?

First, you can believe for everything the Word of God promises you or provides for you. But you can’t believe beyond the Word. Why not? Because “…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” (Romans 10:17). Faith is based on what God’s Word says, and you cannot believe beyond your knowledge of God’s Word. If people try to do this, they will get in trouble.

For example, years ago I met a denominational pastor who received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, spoke in tongues and was kicked out of his denomination.

With no church to pastor, he had gone into business for himself in a large city, and he started attending the largest Full Gospel church in that city. This man was unmarried and was probably between 35 and 40.

He told me that a beautiful woman sang in the church choir, and because “you can have what you say” and “whatever you desire, just pray and believe you receive,” he was going to pray and believe he was going to get her for a wife.

However, I can’t find where the Bible says, “I promise John that he can have Mary for a wife.” Mary may not want to be his wife—and John may be just as well off without her anyway!

So I asked the man, “Have you ever talked to this woman? Have you ever had a date with her?”

“No,” he replied.

Sitting out there in the congregation while the choir sang on Sunday mornings, this man had seen the woman, was attracted to her, and thought because “you can have what you say,” he could just say they would be married and it would come to pass.

But under what conditions will it come to pass?

“Well, if I believe it strongly enough,” some will argue.

No, faith must be based on God’s Word. As we have seen, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word. And the Word of God says, “Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord” (Proverbs 18:22).

“Whoso findeth a wife” implies that you have a part to play, all right, but you must be open to the Lord’s direction, and you must realize that you cannot go against another person’s free will.

The Lord will lead and guide you. You have a right to claim His guidance because He has promised to guide you. But just to pick somebody out and say, “I’m going to believe God and she’s going to be my wife,” won’t work.

Another’s Will Is Involved

The woman you want to marry may not want to be your wife. That would work the other way around for women: The man you want to marry may not want be your husband.

Friends, you’re not going to be able to override another person’s will in the matter, so you may as well settle that once and for all.

God Himself does not exercise authority over human spirits. If He did, He’d make everybody in the world get saved today, and then we could enter into the Millennium.

We only have authority over evil spirits; not over human spirits. God has granted mankind free will to choose for themselves.

In the first meeting I held after leaving my last pastorate, an unmarried woman in her thirties asked me, “Brother Hagin, do I have the right to believe for a husband?”

“I believe you do,” I replied, “because the Bible says, ‘Whoso findeth a WIFE findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord’—and it would be a poor rule that wouldn’t work both ways.”

Will faith work here?

I told the young woman, “You can’t just pick out somebody and say, ‘That one’s mine.’ But you can ask God to lead you. You can claim a mate by faith and let God work out the details because you believe Him.”

Standing in Faith

For many months, it didn’t look like things were going to work for this young woman: No young man came into her life. Every time I saw her, I encouraged her to stand in faith. She would say, “I’m standing in faith. It’s going to work. I know it is!” She had certain ideals in mind. She said, “I’m not a minister myself, but I have been in the work of the Lord for many years, and I want to marry a minister.”

In the process of time, I saw her, and she had married a fine man—a minister. Her faith had worked.

I also remember two beautiful young women who attended a revival meeting I once conducted in Oklahoma. They had just graduated from high school with the highest grades in their class. Both were saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit in my meeting. Some months later, when I returned to that church for another meeting, the Lord led me to minister a word of wisdom to one of the girls.

Afterwards, the pastor said, “Brother Hagin, I’m so glad you did that. You didn’t know this, I’m sure, but that young woman is engaged to be married, and we’re concerned about it. The young man has attended church here, but I’ll just be honest with you—I’m sure he pretended he got saved so he could marry her.”

Something Better

I hadn’t known these details the night the Lord had me minister to the young woman. She was sitting on the front row that night. I asked the congregation to sing because I didn’t want everyone to hear what I told her. I said to her, “The Lord told me to tell you this: ‘I’ve got something better for you. Don’t marry right now. I’ve got something better for you.’”

Two years later I was out in California in a campmeeting when a fine-looking young couple came up to me. The woman said, “Brother Hagin, do you remember me?”

“No,” I said, “but your face looks familiar.”

She told me her name, but I still couldn’t remember who she was.

“Well,” she said, “you’ll remember this: You called me up while the congregation was singing and you told me the Lord said not to marry then because He had something better for me.”

“Oh,” I said. “I remember that.”

“Well,” she said happily, “here he is!”

Then, she told me she and her husband were in Bible college preparing for the ministry. “Oh, I’m so glad the Lord arrested me and ministered to me,” she said. “I would have made a fatal mistake. We’re so happy. And we’re working for God.”

God did have something better for her. God can lead and guide us. We need to be open to the leading of God.

You see, we can believe God and exercise faith for anything that is promised in the Bible. But we must base our faith upon what God’s Word says. If we get into areas beyond the Word, we will get into gray areas—into dark areas. As long as we’re in the Word, we’re in the light. Then we’re on safe ground—sure ground.

Some may say, “I don’t know just what direction to take in life, so what shall I believe for?”

Well, trust God for guidance, because He has promised to guide you. Claim His guidance by faith. Say, “The Lord is guiding me. He is leading me. I may not see it this moment. I may not even know what to do at the moment; but, He is my Guide and I trust Him.”

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14). God will guide you. But remember that He leads you just one step at a time.

Overcoming Low Self-Esteem

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.  Isaiah 53:4-5

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…  Hosea 4:6a

…In order for us to overcome low self-esteem, we must know who we are and what we are worth.  For this to be accomplished, it is imperative that we understand the work of the cross.  God allowed Jesus to die on the cross on our behalf as an exchange for us to have eternal life and an abundant life on earth.  (See John 10:10).  He allowed Jesus to be wounded for areas where we have fallen short of the mark, and bruised for our premeditated sins.  Notice the colon (“:”) in the passage from Isaiah written above.  When a colon is inserted in a sentence, it is to signify that the words following it will explain the words preceding it.  Following the colon in this passage, it states that the chastisement of our peace was upon Jesus and with his stripes, we are healed.  Thus, Jesus took on our sin so that we might have peace and be healed.  In other words, he took on our sins so that we might have “shalom” (peace), i.e., safety, health, prosperity and be “raphah” (healed), i.e., made thoroughly whole.  God does not want us to lack anything in this life, including a healthy self-esteem.  Jesus came to set us free.  Receive his gift.  Think about it, if Jesus came to set you free and to ensure your health and welfare, why would you ever have to walk with a hung-down head?  My pastor, Bishop T.D. Jakes, has said, “The price of a product reflects its worth.”  God allowed his only begotten Son, Jesus, to die a horrible death on our behalf.  Jesus was mocked, spat upon, and slapped by 500 soldiers.  He had a crown of thorns pushed into his head and he received forty stripes with a whip, which ripped his flesh in every lashing.  His hands and feet were nailed to the cross, his side was riven, and he poured out every drop of his blood for us.  Will you look at the price God has paid for you?  This price reflects the great worth God believes you have.  We each have great worth in the sight of God.  We are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.  (See Rom. 3:22).  Never forget this.  Your embracing this is the key to your victory.

I personally ceased from the troublings of low self-esteem several years ago.  While vacationing during my early twenties, I met a lady who by the world’s standards, was extremely unattractive.  She was so unattractive until I felt very badly for thinking so.  She looked as though someone had run into her with a Mack truck and left her for dead.  However, before I could feel sorry for her, I noticed that she carried herself as though someone had forgotten to tell her how she looked.  “How could she look like this, but act like that?” I wondered.  She, indeed, carried herself like a woman of God.  She walked in a tremendous peace.  Girlfriend also used what she had.  She had her hair done in a nice style, which was very popular at the time, and she wore clothes that complimented her figure type.  She was no small woman; however, she did not try to force a size 28 into an 8.  She found stylish clothes that made her look wonderful.  I found this woman intriguing.  I could not fathom this peace she had.  Suddenly, I found myself wanting to be like her.  I wanted to have what she had.  I wanted to be able to carry myself as she did, regardless as to whether the crowd accepted me.  I vowed right then that I would never think of myself as “less than,” due to flaws in my physical appearance.  I figured if this woman could walk around like a queen while looking as if she had been left for dead, then I could accept the things about me that I believed hindered my attractiveness.  I began to remind myself how I am fearfully and wonderfully made and how, because of Christ, “I got it going on!”  You have got it going on, too.  Walk in it!

Experience Good Health

…There are several things that I have found to be helpful in the area of good health which are not very cumbersome.  One thing I do is eat only fruit or raw vegetables before noon.  Of course, on special occasions, I will have a more traditional breakfast of bacon, eggs, and pancakes, but not on a daily basis. The word “breakfast” means to “break” the “fast” that you have been on since dinner the night before. For those of you accustomed to fasting, you know that fruit and juices are the best ways to end a fast. Another reason to eat fruit and vegetables in the morning is that they are easily digestible and therefore, provide quick energy. Your body can retrieve the energy from the nutrients faster. Eating this way will also help you lose weight quickly. You could easily lose 3-5 lbs. in a week after eating this way. The reason is, by eating quickly digestible foods in the morning, you give your body a chance to work on the harder-to-digest foods from your other meals.

I have been practicing the “fruit for breakfast” regimen for several years and it definitely helps to slenderize. More importantly, it helps to get your system healthy, which will help you live a longer life. I first heard of this suggestion after hearing the testimony of Dr. Betty Price. Dr. Price is the wife of Dr. Frederick K.C. Price who founded Crenshaw Christian Center in Los Angeles, California. Dr. Betty Price was stricken with cancer, which she battled and overcame. After her ordeal, she wondered why and how she got cancer in the first place. After seeking the Lord, she discovered that her eating habits gave place to the devil in bringing this disease on her. Prior to her overcoming the cancer, she rarely ate fruits and vegetables and also, rarely drank water. Instead of water, she drank coffee, sometimes ingesting nine cups per day.  These habits caused her digestive system to not function properly. Her meals, because of the excessive coffee, were pushed through her system too quickly for proper digestion.  Her body was unable to obtain the necessary nutrients from her food and ultimately, the toxicity of her body brought on cancer. Interestingly enough, it is not always the devil alone that brings on cancer, diabetes, and hypertension. Often we have opened a door for him to afflict us. It is time we shut those doors.

In keeping with this, I also suggest that you incorporate colon cleansing into your nutrition regimen. A nutritionist did a seminar at our church and from her I learned that a lot of weight is actually waste material that our bodies have failed to eliminate. I learned that if a person is relatively thin, but heavy in the midsection, it is a dead giveaway to needing colon cleansing. Our colons (intestines) sit just behind our navels and if they are overloaded, they will push forward, causing us to have a “big stomach.”  Some people today, take colon cleansing to the extreme.  This is certainly not an activity for everyday life.  Consult your doctor for how often you should participate in colon cleansing.

In addition to colon cleansing, as suggested above, you should drink lots of water. Our bodies are 70% water.  Because we are largely made of water, everything in our body – our cells, tissues, blood – depends upon water for proper functioning. If we deprive our bodies of water, we will not operate at our best and will open the door for sickness and disease. It is recommended that we drink 48 oz. – 64 oz. (6-8 cups) per day. I know that this sounds like a lot of water, but it really is not. I have found that when I get a certain hamburger combo, it comes with a 32-oz. drink. I have also found that I have no trouble consuming this big drink. When I thought about it, I realized that 8 cups of water was only two of these burger-drink cups per day. So, I decided to save these cups and use them for my water. I have found that drinking one of these during the morning and one during the afternoon works well for me. Of course, you do not have to be limited to the burger-drink cup. Some find drinking bottled water from bottles listing the number of ounces works better for them.  Others prefer to drink from a nicer glass. It is up to you. Just make sure that you get your water. Trust me, you will get used to it and start to love it. You will especially love the way it makes you feel and look. You will feel more energetic and your skin will have a healthy glow.

As far as exercising is concerned, what I have found to be best for me is simply walking. If you are an exercise enthusiast and love the gym scene or the videos, that is fine. In fact, I also get into those things sometimes. However, walking through my neighborhood or in the park, has been the easiest for me. It has been the one exercise that I have been able to be faithful to. So, if you are someone who cannot even remember the last time you thought about exercising, try walking. Start by walking to the mailbox, then to the corner, then around the block, then around the neighborhood. Once you are going around the neighborhood, try to do this for approximately 30 minutes, 2 – 3 times per week. This, too, will give you energy and it will also help you look better…

I count not myself to be a nutritionist or physical fitness expert. However, these are some of the things that have worked for me. I suggest you try them and also do further research in these areas until you find what works for you… It will work it you work it.  ; )
