Testimonies from the Women’s Character Studies Seminar on the “Wisdom of the Proverbs 31 Woman”
“I appreciate your invitation to the Women’s Bible Character Seminar Series Summer Session. For a while now, I’ve really been struggling with what’s next for me in many areas of my life and have been specifically praying for WISDOM in all the changes taking place in my life right now. So to be invited was an answered prayer in so many ways.” –Seminar Attendee
“This was just what I needed. I was running over here trying to do this and running over there trying to do that. It’s so good to know that I don’t have to do it all at once; that it can span a lifetime. What a relief!” –Seminar Attendee
“I have had some struggles over the past year and a half…So when I came to the meeting I had a lot on me feeling defeated and less than a woman, I had lost so much. But as Patricia begin to speak about the way God takes us through to bring out the things listed in [Proverbs 31] about the virtuous woman. That it is not something we achieve in and of ourselves. She spoke about the Ruby and why this stone was used in the passage, she spoke about how it is cultivated and it’s ability to allow light to shine through. And the pearl how it is formed out of irritation in a clam until it is perfected.
As I drove home and thought over all that had been said, I realized that God was perfecting something in me. That as he was taking me through the various situations I now find my self faced with, his light would shine through and others would be able to see his work in me. That through all of this I will be strengthened and gain wisdom for what lays ahead of me. God reached me with words of encouragement and hope.” –Seminar Attendee
